Bebe is one of the most surprising shows that I’ve seen this Spring Summer 2012. Bebe opted cast an all white troop (white from head to toe). The show was reminiscent of the french coquette meets modern glamour: lace, ruffles, sheer fabrics, exaggerated tailoring, everything that would remind you of Marie Antoinette, only that she’s living in New York.

One of the things that I am lusting over this collection are the shoes, lace pumps and lace booties, Parisian looks with NYC function.
And here are some photos backstage
Look who I came across, Kate Lanphear, looking so edgy on the front row
Anyway, It’s good to see how the whole design team of Bebe transformed their whole line into something that would fit the sophisticated customer. In a sea of safe designs for New York fashion week, Bebe stands out for coming out of the box and producing luxury clothes with street style price.
