LDN FW Review: Sass & Bide

Since I’m bored looking at sea of dark colors and polished looks for Fall 2011 Let’s go and fly to LDN Fashion Week and what I am loving so far is Sass and Bide’s Fall 2011. Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton opted to create a more optimistic Fall collection with their flash of colors and mix of cultural patterns.

The inspiration was a “Lady-like Urban Warrior”, a girl who has seen the world and decided to take the different indigenous culture with her and wear it to the street. There collection showcased a mixture of electric shades of coral, magenta, and fuschia in fluttery solid silks and some ikats and tie-dyes. My favorite piece is that pre-styled piece of cloth used as cover ups that could take you anywhere from fancy cocktails to laid back days on the beach, and just to remind you, this is a Fall collection.
