Runway Review: Alice + Olivia Spring 2011

Fresh, free and light, Alice + Olivia channels the 70’s bohemian rhapsody with their Spring 2011 collection. The collection is colonized by cupcake colored skirts and flowy frocks, more of like the a bohemian version of Carrie Bradshaw meets Urban Dai.

Spring is another candy-coated outing, this one loosely inspired by the look of the seventies. Bendet said she was conjuring a boho vibe, and the collection had the high waists and handkerchief hems to prove it. –

I love how Alice + Olivia dropped the whole boring basic thing in this collection (not that I hate basics, but Spring time should actually be fun right?). The style was extravagant but the pieces are actually wearable, especially the shoes, omigosh, they are to die for!
